Singhvi Scan and Diagnostic Centre

Singhvi Scan & Diagnostic Centre functioning under the aegis of Singhvi Charitable Trust was established in 1994 at 170, Triplicane High Road, Chennai-600005.

The Centre is well equipped with the latest equipment for CT Scan, Ultrasound Scan, digitalized X-rays, Doppler Scan, Echo cardiogram and ECG. Nominal fee is charged to enable more patients to avail the services. On a daily basis dental and eye camps are conducted in the Singhvi Scan & Diagnostic Centre. The Trust motivates the patients to undergo free eye surgery at premier hospitals in Chennai like Sankara Nethralaya, Bhagwan Mahaveer Eye Hospital, Egmore Eye Hospital. On occasions such as Mahaveer Jayanthi, the centre gives discounts on select services provided at the centre so that the underprivileged can avail the opportunities to correct and take care of their health.

Assistance for Heart Surgery and other Treatment

Since 2001, Singhvi Charitable Trust provides assistance for poor and needy to undergo heart surgery. A sum of Rs.10000 is given for the purpose and increased as Rs.15000 from December 2022. Till October 15, 2023, the Trust has provided assistance to more than 1709 needy people amounting to Rs.1,37,02,189 for the heart surgeries. Singhvi Charitable Trust provides assistance on need basis to the poor people to undergo medical treatment, give medicines etc. Amount of Rs.55,02,418 was given to poor patients.

Contribution and Support to NGOs

Singhvi Charitable Trust gives donations to regularly to about 400 NGOs working for the development of the community. These NGOs work in the domains of animal care, education, health and medicine and social service. Since inception, till 15 th October 2023 assistance of Rs.14.95 crores has been given.

Health Camps

The health camps are conducted in Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan. The Singhvi Charitable Trust conducts medical camps on regular basis in remote areas like Siyat, Phulad, Jojawar, Nana, Jadan, Kantaliya, Sevari, Magartalb, Bagari, Marwar Junction, Goriya, Bhimana and Bhabhan. The people in these areas do not have easy accessibility to medical help. Till March 2019, 49 camps have been conducted benefitting 27042 eye & dental patients and 1296 cataract operations have been performed.

Eye Camps

Singhvi Charitable Trust serves the weaker sections of Society by giving medical assistance since 1974. The efforts of the Trust intensified its objective as “vision to all” from the year 1996-97 onwards. The Trust has been running Free Eye Camps to serve the underserved and poor patients of remote rural areas & urban slums in various parts of Tamil Nadu within a radius of about 100 kms. from Chennai. The identified patients are given Free spectacles, medicines and food packets at the camp site. The Trust motivates the patients to undergo free eye surgery at Shri Ramachandra Medical Hospital, Porur.

Dental camps

The Trust provides dental treatment that includes extraction, filling and scaling of tooth by a team of senior dental surgeons in above said camps. Physiotherapy sessions have been included in rural camps since 26th January 2018.
